BC 185 effectively control algae, bacteria and fungi growth in commercial and industrial recalculating paint, water systems, wall. Made from high-quality raw materials under the strictest guidelines, BIO' microbial growth inhibitors are stable for long periods, are not decomposed by high temperatures, and are not lost from systems through evaporation. Non-foaming and phosphate-free, these are non-corrosive to most metals commonly used in recalculating water systems. In exterior applications, painted surfaces exposed to the environment are in contact with airborne fungi and algae. To be efficient for exterior application the biocide needs to have a broad spectrum of fungi and algae and provides low solubility in water and good UV stability for a long-term protection.
Concern about the potential health issues associated with mould growth on interior surfaces has created a need for a safe and effective full-spectrum biocide. Contaminations are often dependent on a high level of humidity of a room (bathrooms, kitchens.). An efficient biocide for indoor coatings must be particularly effective against moulds and have a low solubility in water.
An important aspect that must be considered before selecting the ideal biocide for interior coatings is its safety.
