SR Hardener Cement Accelerator
Product Details:
SR-Hardener Cement Accelerator is a polymeric hardener for cement mixes such as concrete, mortars and other sand/cement mixes. It is a clear liquid which will not alter the color of the material to which it is added. SR-Hardener Cement Accelerator is perfect for use in cooler climates or during winter. It is also suitable when installations need to be finished quickly.
Uses/Advantages
- SR-Hardener Cement Accelerator can be used to accelerate the setting time of concrete, mortar and other sand/cement mixes.
- Suitable for use when concreting in cold weather climates.
- Cement Accelerator promotes high early strength and allows earlier finishing and removal of formwork and moulds.
- By using SR-Hardener Cement Accelerator you can achieve 7 day compressive strengths in 48 hours.
Precautions:
- Always pre-dilute SR-Hardener Cement Accelerator. Do not add SR-Hardener Cement Accelerator directly to the dry concrete or sand/cement mix.
- Avoid contact with skin when working with cementations mixes. Protect by wearing rubber gloves etc.
- For addition to cement based tile adhesives, add 125ml SR-Hardener Cement Accelerator mixed into the amount of clean water (as specified by the manufacturer) with each 20 kg bag of adhesive.
- SR-Hardener Cement Accelerator will reduce the amount of working time that the concrete or sand/cement mix normally provides. Always take this into account by mixing smaller batches and carrying out work in smaller stages.
