HTHP EP Lube is a High-Temperature High-Pressure Extreme Pressure Lubricant. It is nontoxic, bio-degradable torque reducer from specialized blend of treated vegetable oils and high molecular glycols. It imparts high-temperature extreme pressure lubricating properties to the drilling fluids and prevents wall sticking. It is formulated for sodium silicate based drilling fluids aiding in minimizing torque drag, differential sticking tendencies and shale inhibition. It is used in sodium silicate mud systems for extreme alkaline condition with non-foaming properties.

E.P. Lubricant is an excellent general drilling mud lubricant for reduction of torque and drag, as well as for extreme pressure applications. E.P. Lubricant should be use in water base mud whenever torque, drag or excessive bit gauge wear are encountered. This product can be used in all water base mud systems, is calcium tolerant and exhibition additional properties such as emulsification and wetting.
It is effective in sodium silicate based drilling fluids without disturbing any properties. It readily emulsifies drilling into the mud systems and reduces torque and drag of the drill string.
