Product Details:

SR-CIM COAT  118 is a two component cementitious & acrylic flexible waterproofing & protectivecoating composed of best quality portaland cement, properly selected & graded aggregates,additives & acrylic emulsion polymer as a binder. It is applied to waterproof and protect concreteand similar structures. specially formulated for swimming pools, retaining walls, pile Heads, watertanks, submerged tunnels, sumps, bridge decks, marbles, granites and a wide variety of extremeservice class structures because on curing it forms an excellent elastomeric, waterproof & protectivelayer over the substrate.its Provides a flexible & low permeable coating.
Areas of Application:Any concrete, cement or masonry surface that is subject to damage from moisture.Swimming pools, reservoirs . Terraces up to 550 -600 m2 and covered with protective screed.Bathrooms, toilets, sunken portions, balconies, planters etc.
Surface Preparation:

• New cementitious surfaces must be well cure for at least 6–8 weeks before coating.All surfaces must
• be clean, dry and free of loose materials, oil grease, etc. Any previous growth of fungus & algae
• must be entirely removed by wire brushing and cleaning with water. All cracks should be treated appropriately.

Application Procedure:

• Do not dilute with water.
• The surface must be well saturated with water before application of first coat
• Do not cure with water after applying first coat.
• Allow 1st coat to dry completely for 6 – 8 hrs before applying 2nd coat. This will act as key
• coat for the subsequent plaster coat. While plastering apply a dash coat, cure well and then
• finish with two coats of plaster.

Coverage:

• Apply slurry coat of mixed material for two coats at a coverage rate of 1.5 kg/m2 over the set Concrete slab by a masonry brush or appropriate power spray equipment.
• Coverage may vary depending upon the texture and porosity of the surface
