Drilling Detergent
Drilling detergent, a proprietary blend of aqueous surfactants, is specially formulated for use in fresh water, and in low-solids drilling fluids as a wetting agent.
Application:
- Keep the drill bet clean
- A slow breakup of cutting in the annulus while being pumped to the surface
- Counteract the sticking tendencies of clays, thereby reducing wall packing, bit balling,booting-off, and formation of mud rings. Promote selling of cuttings at the surface.
- Lowers torque and drag.
Advantage:
- Effective in low concentrations
- Easy to mix with water
- Non-fermenting and biodegradable
- low foamer and will not create foaming problem
- Increasing the horsepower at the bit and results in improved drilling rates.
