S.R. Chemical is a proprietary blend of natural oils and surfactants in a non-toxic base. The product is a free-flowing liquid, and is biodegradable, non-toxic, and does not fluoresce. S.R. Chemical should be used in water base muds whenever torque, drainage or excessive bit gauge wear are encountered. This product can be used in all water base mud systems, is calcium tolerant and exhibition additional properties such as emulsification and wetting. S.R. Chemical will not affect the performance or characteristics of the drilling fluid system being used in addition this excellent product will not provide a sheen on water because it contains no aromatics. This in-fluorescing characteristic is very important because it means that S.R. Chemical will not adversely downhole good logging operations. S.R. Chemical is stable at high temperature. S.R. Chemical is typically loaded at a concentration of approximately 0.279% by volume of the mud system under most condition. However, the concentration of up to 2.1% by volume may necessary depending on the severity of the problem encountered.
